ION national feed? People dedicated enough to want the national feed over an affiliate are the types who have C Band dishes and can do this without DirecTV's help... DirecTV's low bitrate H.264 re-encoding would result in it being inferior to an OTA ION affiliate anyway. The whole point of getting a national feed is the higher quality of it.
All this comes after they just added a "HD" channel which has never aired a single piece of high definition content: TCM.
Who the fuck is making the HD addition decisions over there? H2 HD, Game Show Network, Investigation Discovery, Sundance Channel... they should all be coming before "Disney Jr." |
