If you look at the smaller providers (especially a lot of the muni FTTH networks), they're not carrying IFC, WE, Fuse and Sundance. A lot of smaller cable companies shun them too. EPB in Chattanooga doesn't have them, Cincinnati Bell doesn't have them, etc.
Google Fiber has yet to add any of that suite.
TWC had their major fight over MSG (from the Dolans) and Suddenlink a few months ago had a major fight with AMC, and had plans to drop the network.
And outside of their hit shows that have been mentioned, AMC is pretty worthless. It's heavily edited, heavily ad-inserted movies seen elsewhere and largely with better image quality. And IFC isn't what it used to be either, but they do have some good original content. |
