Bogus usage notifications

Has anyone else received bogus "high usage" notifications in the last couple of days? I did while my current usage is 0.77 GB (albeit not updated since yesterday, due to "system maintenance"!!!

And after that "system maintenance", my usage was 82 GB in just one day! (I seldom use more than 35 or so a month!)

With no government oversight they can make up whatever they want, if they wanted to.

Hopefully you're not seriously suggesting that if the government took control of these issues, things would be more "honest"? lol

No but Industry Canada via Measurement Canada need to find a way to meter properly if we are being charged. Gas & Electrical are held to strict guidelines in regard to metering.

Absolutely needs to happen.

We've already seen ample evidence of what happens when these companies are left to their own devices.

Like, $1500 cable bills for example.

Hard, heavy-handed regulation is the only way to reign these turkeys in.

The "regulatory soft touch" approach Herr Harper mandated is akin to putting wolves in charge of chicken coups.

I didn't suggest anything of the sort.

Are you suggesting we allow corporations free reign to do as they will, and trust that greed won't cloud their honesty?

Good luck with that, Captain Naive...
