click on Guide and then click Options then on subscribe channels

the NFL rewind package is less than $50 lol

and you get every game, not just highlights

if you're gonna spend 11 hours watching bits and pieces on RedZone(1pm-7pm) then the SNF game thru midnight, you can spend half that and watch every game with the condensed feature on Rewind that shows every play of each game and cuts all the other crap out and the game is over in 20-40 minutes depending if they ran more pass plays or run plays which eats clock between plays

30m x 14 day games = 7 hours + SNF and MNF = ~8 hours, actually less cause of the Thursday game now

and dont gimme the "i need to see it live" cause Redzone isnt live, they tell you what happened and show you while following some game nobody cares about like Browns/Bengals rather than Ravens/Steelers or Pats/Texans, you cant follow the flow or momentum of any game like that, its basically the same as the highlight clips for the audio subscriptions or boxscore sites, id rather see all the plays

First of all redzone is LIVE....obviously they show taped plays from like 5 mins ago of other games with simultaneous action but generally when a team is inside the 20 they follow that drive LIVE to the end sometimes even ping ponging back & forth between plays of 2 drives LIVE.

Also its not the same as watching just highlites after the game is over because then you know the winner of the game already....redzone even if they show a taped play from 5 mins ago you dont know the game/play result yet.

I guess you need to call FIOS, tell us how it goes

I just did an online chat with Verizon, they said you have to tune to the channel after August 23rd to activate it and it's is still included with the ultimate tier TV package.

Verizon is really starting to annoy me!
I got the same nonsense comment from support in chat.
That is 100% wrong.
The channel is active broadcasting a message saying when the channel starts broadcasting. I was able to see it on Ch1003 after the 3D Olympics channel was turned off.
Why can't FiOS just fix their mistake and turn the channel back on to all customers who are subscribed.
This is ridiculous.

Just to see if I'm in the same boat with everybody else before I call/chat with verizon. Is the Red Zone Splash Screen we're talking about have a Bengals player, followed by a Donald Driver, Randy Moss, Hines Ward, Marion Barber, Drew Brees and finally Reggie Wayne going from left to right and a "push OK for more information" banner in the lower right corner?

If so I get that, but if I push OK, I get a message "Please wait while we find you the best offer for you" then a Info message pops up saying "You can not order this package through the remote as a change to your plan may be required...."

I have the ultimate tier. If I do Guide, options, subscribed the guide shows channels 335 and 835.

I'm hoping this means I am good to go.

Yes, this is normal every offseason. You should not see the black screen/popup saying 'You are not subscribed to: Red Zone; Press OK to subscribe'

It's hard to tell from this thread if that is what people have been seeing, or if they're worried about the splash screen with the 'Press OK for more' button that doesn't work. I would be concerned with the former, but not the latter (which is what I get)

Last year if you selected the channel a message screen came up and just read that Red Zone will become active during the regular season, nothing about not being subscribed or calling 1-800 blah blah .... to select the best package for you.
That's probably the issue everyone is having. So Verizon put up this screen this year just to confuse everyone .....

I always had the splash screen off season.
However year 1 I paid the 49.99 and other years i was on Ultimate.

This whole thing is quite the cluster ****. On the website it says I'm subscribed to ultimate hd. If I click change plan it shows me already subscribed to ultimate. I get all my channels I'm supposed.

With Red Zone sometimes I get the splash screen sometime I get the you are not subscribed to this channel message. When tuned to 835 I press the B button and in home agent starts and says I'm not subscribed.

I also ran Self Diagnostics under ment>customer support and it shows my package as extreme hd and hbo only, it used to say all the channels I got. I dm'd vz at twitter so we'll see what they say.

I know I will. I plan to watch the national games on my TV, and have my tablet running Redzone (through Slingbox) so I can keep up on other games.

I just checked my Redzone channel. It wasn't working previously for me, but I hit OK, it told me that I get Redzone under the Ultimate package, and I had to hit OK again to activate the channel. A couple of minutes later, the channel was working.
