Since I am already paying for my iPhone, Jetpack, and iPad on my VZW share everything plan, it was cheaper to add mom and grandma to my plan as opposed to them paying $136 per month for basic phones through AT&T (base plan was $89.99 for 1400 minutes whereas VZW is $30 per dumb phone and unlimited minutes).
