Another poster mentioned that if you did subtraction there was a net loss of 125k subscribers from pay TV services in general.

IMO this is still a significant number. Definitely not as significant as 400k, but still significant.

125k sounds about correct but it can also be explained by the economy and the housing market.

Most people I know who do cord cutting either get frustrated with it or resort to piracy to supplement what they can't get from legal sources.
