| applies to pc owners.. when I had the verizon crap hd box, many of the internet based services had to be tied to a PC streaming app.. what a waste.. to pay more money for set-top rental, taxes on the rental, and have to pay for pc electricity powered up costs too.. ugh.. and I'll assume this is the way comcasts box works too since they copy one another, right?
however, I'm cable-tv cord/cut so i'm not a buyer of cable-tv anymore.. | | JPLPremium join:2007-04-04 Downingtown, PA kudos:2 | said by tmc8080:when I had the verizon crap hd box, many of the internet based services had to be tied to a PC streaming app.. what a waste.. to pay more money for set-top rental, taxes on the rental, and have to pay for pc electricity powered up costs too.. ugh.. and I'll assume this is the way comcasts box works too since they copy one another, right?
however, I'm cable-tv cord/cut so i'm not a buyer of cable-tv anymore.. Huh? That's not how Verizon's boxes work. You need their media manager s/w to do things like stream your own pictures, video, and music to your TV. But to get to things like Facebook and YouTube, you don't need any streaming s/w on your computer. | |
