Distributel MLPP

Hi, I wondered if it was possible to run two 28Mbit Cable connection in tandem to gain 56Mbit connection. I heard Distributel offers MLPP so I'm wondering if that's possible and still get the unlimited 50M+ unlimited service which would still be cheaper than Roger's alternative.

Caneris/Acanac are the only ones currently doing MLPPP over cable, and I believe they still currently require a Caneris/Acanac DSL line as the master connection. They had plans to support cable-only configurations, though.

You can always do old-style multi-wan stuff with multiple cable modems, which works decently for multi-stream stuff like BitTorrent, but doesn't improve your maximum single-stream speeds for something like HTTP.

Hi it's OP again. I decided to get Distributel installed and the tech is scheduled to be here on Friday the 10th. I receieved my modem and it syncs up fine but of course it needs Rogers to activitate the modem itself. Is it possible to call Rogers myself to have them activate this?
