I would suggest you using Waterfox, as it is a 64 bit version of Firefox.

kudos:2 | Did you download the most recent version? I know a while back you had to have some version of the Visual C++ Redistributable file installed as well.
As far as I know, that is not needed anymore. I did download the one that was posted with version 9.0.1, which I still have a copy of. So, if we can figure out a way for you to get that, I'll send it your way.
