Re: Mozilla Firefox 14.0.1 Final

Any Memory leakage fixes yet? I have given up on FF ( through version 13.0 ) due to the massive memory use that creeps and creeps.
It starts with using 250Mb when first launched and after a few hours is at 800Mb and keeps climbing.

I said this when FF2.0 came out, and confirmed it's still true with Aza Dotson last year. There are NO memory leaks in Firefox that a user would notice.

If you are having issues like that, without doing anything unusual and you didn't fiddle with your settings and you're not visiting high bandwidth sites constantly, then it's an add-on gone wild causing it, and not anything Mozilla has control over.

Every year someone comes along and thinks that FF has serious memory leaks. That's not been true since before FF2.0. Get over it. I don't think you know what a memory leak really is.
