Are you sure that is correct? I thought the burden of proof is just different / lower in civil cases.

I don't think you are guilty until proven innocent. We have a few lawyers on this site, I'm sure they can elaborate.

Don't think it's any kind of legal process. I suppose Comcast has to follow it's own rules (that it can change any time) and franchise agreements (which are a joke), but it's Comcast's network and it doesn't need a reason to kick you off.

Although I am not a lawyer, but I believe that the proper term for civil cases is "preponderance of evidence". In plain English, whatever side makes stronger case for themselves wins.
