[Exede] Data Allowance Pollicy (DAP)

Hello all, I was just wondering if anyone has heard when Viasat will start enforcing the DAP? I heard through this blog last month that they thought it would be July. Any updates? So far its going to be very difficult keeping it within the 10G. Thanks

Last I heard enforcement begins in July which might mean your usage begins to count on your billing date this month.

On the WB forum WB Steve posted a little while ago that the Exede usage meters still had accuracy problems and he would post a big announcement on the forum when the usage meters for Exede would be accurate and when DAP enforcement would begin.

He also stated the Legacy usage counters were accurate and Fap was still being enforced.

Thanks guys, that's some good info. I was concerned that the Dish/exede meter might not be accurate so I downloaded and installed Networx the other day.

But on the Exede FB page about a week ago they announced the meter WAS accurate.

However, I tend to trust what WB Steve says.

I can't imagine my primary internet source being limited to 10GB a month. I wish you the best MSMMH.

I think meter itself is accurate; what the last reported issue was a mathematical issue where you got "more and more."

As above example shows, someone included a negative number in programming, so users get more & more....unlimited, so to speak.
