Full retail price may be worth it

A subsidized new phone these days is $300 +-. Retail these phones go for $600 +-. Hence a $300 difference; over 24 months that works out to $12.50 per month to keep your unlimited.

So ... if you have to up your share everything plan more than $12.50 per month because you need more data ... in the end it would be cheaper to purchase your phones at retail.
