It's been shown that the suicide rates are actually in line or lower than average. In addition, Apple actually pays Foxconn extra, to pass directly to the workers that make their products. None of their other customers do this.
But, it won't matter in time. Foxconn announced a while back they want to replace the bulk of their work force with robots.
