| [speed/latency] Slow streaming I recently switched from Comcast Internet to Verizon Internet. At the same time I switched from Comcast cable to Dish Network. I love being able to stream movies on my iPad with the Dish app. The movies will start right away but sometimes I get buffering issues during the movie. This never happened with Comcast. It gets worse, when I try to watch a movie on my regular tv via on demand or apple tv it tells me I have to wait 4 hours before I can start the movie. I don't understand why I don't have to wait for on demand movies on the dish app on my iPad but I have to wait when I try to use on demand from the tv. Unacceptable to have to wait 4 hours for on demand movies. I know dish will blame this on Verizon Internet speeds but that wouldn't explain why I can stream on my iPad via the same Internet service. Wish I knew who to complain to. |

| Up to 3mps was the highest I could sign up for. I've had 2 different verizon techs tell me that my lines were capable of 7mps. But the billing people keep telling me the most I can get is 3mps???? |
