Going on vacation and need Internet

We are going to Frisco, NC for 2 weeks and we want Internet access. The house will not have Internet access.

Does anyone know of a service we can get for 2-4 weeks that will work in Frisco, NC? I assume we will need at least a few Gigs of data.

We don't have any smart phones.
We will have 6+ laptops, 2 pads, and some game systems.

If needed, I will use my own access point to extend to all the devices.

Can you use a high gain antenna with these wireless devices to get better range? If so, any recommendations?

Thanks.

I suggest Millenicom . It will cost you . go to www.milenicom.com . In Your case you will need to contact them and tell them about your destination and zip code and they will see who has the best coverage .
Good Luck

Max,
Your URL is wrong. Boy was I confused. But I found the correct URL. Thanks.

Just started looking, but so far it looks good.

Thanks again,

Will cost too much.
$100 for the device. I expected this.
$50 for setup.
$15 for shipping.
$70 per month. My 2 week vacation will span the month boundary, so I will pay part of the first, then all of the second. Maybe $100.

About $265 for 2 weeks coverage.

You and I have completely different meanings of what a vacation is. I recommed leaving the laptops, pads, and game systems at home.

When I go on vacation, it does not require internet access!

This is just sad.

Hmmm . . .

My first thought would be figure out whose service works there and take advantage of their trial period, I think they all have at least a 2 week trial.

Sounds like you might exceed their bandwidth limits though, so that may get expensive, be careful make sure you know the terms of their deal.
