It's got the best of both worlds....

4GB or 6GB SSD Type Cache for fast reads, 32 Mb Cache 7200/7400RPM for relatively fast writes..

And costs a heck of a lot less than a SSD for a 500/750Gb drive.

New 750GB's have 8GB of SSD Cache.
