Re: Get an HTPC I've looked at the Hauppauge before, and considered buying one. I liked the lower cost, and didn't see any need for more than 2 tuners myself. My problem is that it's incapable of handling analog signals, and unfortunately here there's a lot of channels that we don't receive the HD versions of, so I wouldn't have access to them at all. And I would have had to build a unit specifically for it.
I was considering it for Christmas, right before we got AMC HD, Comedy Central HD and Cartoon Network HD here. Did I mention we're a little behind? Now I'm just waiting for the Q, because it's baseball season anyway, and that takes up enough time to keep me from watching much else. |
