| [Asterisk] Yealink SIP-T22P Re-registration Does anyone have their SIP phones keep registering to Asterisk or FreeSWITCH for every 60 seconds? Last weekend, I've told my mom to call her phone company to do a line test since the Internet seems to go off randomly and it came back on for 30 to 60 or even 120 seconds, causing my phone to lose registration to my Asterisk 10 server. My two Android smartphones running CSipSimple does not have a problem staying registered to my Asterisk server, so it's not the problem with Asterisk but my Yealink phone. My Asterisk server is in Tallahassee and I'm in Altha, FL (west of Tallahassee). -- Phone: Yealink SIP-T22P + CSipSimple in Optimus V Phone System: Asterisk 10.1; Server: Debian Sid+Exp

| I am able to solve my problem. I've set the registration expiry time to 120 seconds. Is that too low? If my phone loses registration to my Asterisk server due to a loss of Internet connectivity for 30 seconds, it may not try to register to my server after 1 hour, let alone 30 minutes, so once I have my phone set to register every 2 minutes, my phone can register like immediately once the Internet connection is back online.
The home page for DSLReports.com thinks that I'm with gtcom.net, but since my mom pays for the phone service, I don't know what the real ISP is. -- Phone: Yealink SIP-T22P + CSipSimple in Optimus V Phone System: Asterisk 10.1; Server: Debian Sid+Exp
