While there is outbound calls rule, it is very limited, only support from, to, country and area code. No number start by (such as 0118835100 for iNum) or custom dialing pattern is supported. This makes it very difficult to route calls to more than just few providers despite it appears to me that Sonetel allows unlimited number of providers to be added.
Users must download and install Sonetel client software to configure most settings just like Voxox. Web interface configuration is minimum unlike PBXes.
It has trouble to register to pbxes.org as sub PBX and callcentric.com. In case of registration successfully such as to sipgate, neither phone registers to Sonetel would ring nor forward via SIP URI with iNum would work. 
In my humble opinion, Sonetel Phone System is still buggy. It needs more time to fix issues. In the meantime, I would recommend trying »www.i-p-tel.com/ also for free just make 100% sure that you never open more than one account with them! |
