Westell 7500 help appreciated

I recently switched from Verizon DSL to Cablevision. Cable supplied me with a new modem that unfortunately is not wireless. I am able to use the old 7500 as a pass through but would like to use it to connect wirelessly. Is this possible?

You can reconfigure the 7500 and use it like it's a wifi access point
