 | Callcentric I have been using callcentric. A smaller company but the service is good. I pay 3.45 a month for the phone number and 911 service fees and so fourth. Then its $0.014 per minute incoming or outgoing. They have unlimited but my bills are around 5 bucks a month. |

incoming $1.95/month per DID + $0.015/min
outgoing $0.0198/min
You will also need to pay $1.49/month for E911 service if you live in the U.S.
For people with low to moderate usage, PAYGO can really save a lot of money compared to an 'unlimited' plan from a larger voip provider.
They do offer unlimited plans for those that need them as well. |

1 edit | CallCentric and VOIP.MS seem to be the two leading low cost providers but VOIP.MS doesn't charge any tax or extra fees like CallCentric does. I'm using VOIP.MS and the audio quality of calls is excellent, better than Skype or anything else I've tried but it's very difficult to setup an IP telephone. Took me 2 weeks of trial and error to get all the settings on the phone's 3 setup screens right so I could make and receive calls. VOIP.MS tech support answers questions promptly but they aren't any help with setup. It's easy to do using a softphone app on the PC or smartphone though since all you have to put in is the server name and your user name and password and they figure out the rest. |

They do offer unlimited plans for those that need them as well. I also highly recommend Anveo. They are $1/did for 40 free minutes a day incoming (overages are .015/min) with their free subscription. Paid subscriptions have higher numbers of daily free minutes or you can go unlimited with 2 incoming lines for $2/DID. Outgoing calls are .01/min for the US. $1.50 E911 fee.
So for $2.50/month +.01/min outgoing (I almost never exceed 40 minutes incoming) I get great service, can also have my Android cell ring with a SIP account, have a fairly powerful visual call flow manager, plus most of the other features everyone else has. |
