cchheettLamb Of GodPremium join:2001-04-02 Eagle Creek, OR | How to get rid of tree logs, from a storm. Long story short, last year we had a few big storms and one of my trees fell over. I cut it up into logs, but just stacked it in my yard. Now that its sunny I want to take care of the logs. The wood isnt any good, the tree was pretty dead. I just dont know where i need to go to get rid of the logs. It wasnt a full tree. only the top of a tree. the biggest part or the tree is about 15 inches thick down to maybe 6 inches. I looked online for yard debris places in my local town, but they will only take stuff that is 6 inches or smaller"width of branch". Any suggestions on what i need to do. Thanks |

 | Put an ad out for firewood, rent a log spliter. Little bit of elbow grease and you profit a few bucks. |

Or pile them up and forget about them. Eventually they will rot away. All depends on how large they are.

| reply to cchheett Had something similar when I was in Beavecreek. Put an ad in Craigslist, with photos and gave it away. Or if on a main road, put up a sign?
And to sweeten the deal had some other things to give away to make the trip worthwhile, killing 3 birds with one stone. ymmv |

 | reply to cchheett You have a few options.
Put an ad on craigslist. People take all kinds of firewood. Even if the wood was rotten there may still be some usable firewood.
Otherwise you can rent a wood chipper and make some mulch. |
