Re: Brilliant!

And if everyone drops AMC, you won't have any shows to torrent.
Same with Netflix and Hulu. Where do people think they get these shows?
I'm not saying we should roll over for the blackmail the channels are trying, but if channels get dropped (or people say I won't pay cable, I will just Netflix, Hulu or worse torrent) they won't be around to provide content.

Then maybe the AMC and studios will get the point and stop charging so much for 3 shows we want and just let us steam them for a reasonable price like netflix does...

Yes and no. I'd torrent because they still play shenanigans with streaming. NetFlix, Hulu, HBOOnline, iTunes. They all still have stupid restrictions depending the show, times, availability, etc. You can see it here, 6 months later. You can see it there, only if you enter a comcast account #. See if over there if you have an online account and another subscription over there. It's the same crap as the Ultraviolet "digital copy" of Blue Ray crap.

I'll happily give them $ to make your shows. I like them. I want to watch them. Just stop jerking around and let me have it where I want, how I want, when I want.

Nothing is more user friendly than clicking the torrent button. THAT'S the problem. They're making it MORE difficult to get their content. Not easier.
