[Digital TV] HD Homerun Prime encryped channels and COLD HIT
Having trouble getting this thing working. SL Seems to not know what these things are nor how to get them working correctly. After some reading in the siliconedust forum for the homerun, I see others got it running by doing a COLD HIT on the unit. I talked to a field tech from another area who knew about the cold hit...... seems these local support do not know or say they can no longer do the cold hit.
I do have the unit running after lots of issues, but the encrypted channels are still encrypted. Unit says its paired but something is still not working properly.
Anyone else out there have experience with the HDHR prime and suddenlink? Suggestions?

Follow up Had the field tech here for 2 and a half hours. In the end it was the COLD HIT that is needed to get the thing going.
As for the encrypted channels. They would work for only a few minutes then go out. It seems the office needed to provision a little differently but I do not know what exactly she did.
I must say SL and their sharing of information among tech's both in the field and office needs improvement.
