I'm at Dundas & Sherbourne on the Bloor POI, still 4x1. Anyone living in the same area with more bonded upstream channels?

Is it just me or the Markham POI (Anderson) hasn't been upgraded to support upstream channel bonding?

It's node-based not POI-based. There's many thousands of nodes in Rogers' network, it'll take time before they upgrade every one. No one gets faster speeds till the tariffs are updated, so for now it makes almost no difference.

Yep, in some areas they're starting to roll out. just hold tight as they slowly bring it up through the network. Honestly it doesn't make that much of a difference especially now that the POI congestion is getting eased out.

I got upstream bonding on my 6121 with 1.0.5.1 firmware sometime in the last 3 weeks. Bloor(2) POI.Seems pretty stable with 17 days uptime currently. Can't wait for upstream upgrades!

Unless you're experiencing congestion it makes no difference at all....bonding doesn't have anything to do with faster speed...the .cm file that's sent to your modem has to do with how much actual speed you get...and that's the truth so I"m not sure why everyone keeps looking at whether or not they're bonding...anywho...

I was mainly waiting to see if my modem would support it on their network for when they eventually enable higher speeds.

I was just down for about 15-20 mins but I'm back up and I now see 4 upstream channels instead of 2. My modem can only do 4x4 but most likely this area is now offering 8x4. Horner/Browns Line area of southern Etobicoke. My IP address also changed from 108.162.130.x to 24.52.228.x.

Still 4x1 here.

How do I check for the DHCP lease time if I have a DCM475?

I just got 8x4 today. I live near Yonge & Steeles (York Mills POI), and have a DCM475 modem. I hope this means the terrible internet speeds I have persistently had the last couple of weeks will end.

Is your modem plugged into a router or directly to a computer? If a router what's the make/model?

I'm on the York Mills POI. Yesterday morning my internet was down for quite a while. When I came back in the afternoon and rebooted the router I had 4 upstream channels. Before this I had 2 upstream channels.

Maybe this means we are getting closer to larger upload speeds?

Well that in itself is pretty obvious but what is the threshold of nodes upgraded before they'll roll out the upgrades en masse? They're not going to wait until every last node is upgraded otherwise we'll have another year and a half to two years to wait.
