ZAP 3.0.082 addressed this problem.
Turning off all the privacy controls seemed logical & I did that.
But what REALLY made the difference (IMO- because I hadn't done so before)) was that I cleared my cache.

All the avitars here and other animated gifs elsewhere, are all working fine now. Give it a try.

Ever since upgrading to the new ZAP, animations do not play for me. I checked my IE settings and they're fine, but animations won't play anymore. What setting in ZAP do I need to change to fix this?
