Any chance AT&T would offer calling features deal for DSL?
Is there even a sliver of a chance that AT&T would offer, say, a year of free caller ID and call waiting if I were to add DSL (regular PPPoE-based DSL- looks like AT&T will never upgrade my CO to IP-DSLAM) instead of the free modem and router (I don't need these- I've got a couple DSL modems and a router).
Far as I know they will not, but does not mean you will not get ahold of somebody who will do it, Your best chance is to play phone jockey and see who you can snag.

reply to slyphoxj If you are getting the discounted introductory DSL rate, no they will not give away anything to do with the telephone line. Take the equipment included in the offer and store it away in case yours fails.
