Solar Eclipse Sunday Evening

An 85% Solar Eclipse starts Sunday evening @ 5:25 PM here in SoCal and ends @ 7:42 PM (10 mins before sunset).
Here's hoping there's no Marine Layer for those close to the coast.

Yeah, I missed it . I've been in Puerto Rico for the past 2 weeks, going on my third week here .

I thought it was pretty cool. Looking through a couple pairs of sunglasses made it easy to watch...

I had to drive inland a bit because of the marine layer. About 15 minutes before the start of it, the fog rolled in and the sun disappeared so I packed up the cameras and headed away from the coast. Didn't go quite far enough though as it made it to our location about 1/2 way through the eclipse. I got a few pictures so I am happy. Now I am getting ready for the Venus transit but will be working during it but should still get some pictures.
