[iPhone] Bluetooth device mutes phone

Just received a bluetooth controlled power cord
Works great btw
But

When I have the device (»www.zsmartcompany.com/) connected via BT, I have no audio on my phone or listening to voice mail as well as touch tones are also muted

Only happens when connected to the device, not just when BT is on

Any ideas what could cause this behavior and a work around?

This device likely emulates a headset, and the phone by default routes its audio to it. I dont have a BT headset here to play with to see what options there may be to switch the audio back to the phone.

Mess about with the bluetooth settings.

Hivolt - you got it right

Within the app there is an option to where the 'audio' goes
To operate the cord - it must be selected and to use phone sounds - the phone needs to be selected
