This is a sign that a 4G LTE iPhone is in the cards. When I first signed up for mobile broadband, I had the 3GB/$35 plan but when I went 4G, I had to go to the 5GB/$50 plan.
Maybe if the 4G LTE iPhone ever comes out, i'll pay the ETF on my mobile broadband card and pay for tethering on the LTE iPhone.
