Re: Honda vs. Chevy I ended up with an '03 Civic w/ a 5-spd (manual).
Knock wood, it's been good up to the 1000 miles I've driven so far, and on the 3 tanks of gas I'm averaging 37MPG.
Aside from feeling like a paid a bit too much, my only sore spot is realizing that this engine has a 7yr/105K cycle for the timing belt... I don't have all the service records, but I'm going to guess that with only about 62K on the clock, the timing belt was not yet done, which means I'm about 2 years over due based on age. |
