I know of a lot of people who ran for the hills during the impending merger with AT&T. I was almost one of them. Two of my closest friends left (one to Verizon, one to Sprint) because they refused to be part of of AT&T. In these very forums there were many people who wrote they were leaving T-Mobile because they didn't want to be on AT&T.
