[General] SIP GURUS, HELP!! Cannot connect to any SIP server

voip-debug.txt 57,483 bytes
VOIP on my PC was working fine when suddenly it stopped working. I have tried connecting from other PCs in my network they can connect to sip server but my can't. I have disabled the windows firewall, put my pc in DMZ in the network even used my other sip softphones, tired other SIP servers(other providers), tried using VPN as well but still SiP connection doesn't work. :(

Using Phonerlite the debug shows repeat cycles of this:

Do you have anything like Norton or Mcafee installed? Have you ever? Quite often, they leave bits of themselves behind. Reinstalling them, then disabling the firewall, then uninstalling has fixed similar issues many times.

I don't think your problem has anything to do with SIP.

The question should be addressed to the soft phone vendor.

I think the forum just ate the text that was enclosed in angle brackets. If you take a look at the attached file you can see Contact: <sip:115873140@192.168.0.11:5060>;+sip.instance="<urn:uuid:001F15E1-4783-E111-91A8-8269733610E7>"

If all your soft phones are failing to register then you have some basic network issue.

For example, are you getting valid DNS resolution to all your registrars? Can you ping them?

Try to reset TCP/IP, from a DOS windows by running the following command:

netsh int ip reset resetlog.txt

After that reboot the computer.

What I noticed, your ping time to sip.callwithus.com is very high "time=345ms", mine is 92ms. Since on other computers on the network it's working an on yours not, for sure it's something related to your Windows. I would start doing an online virus and spyware scan, from what I get you don't have a program installed to do that.

Thankyou for replying.
I scanned with microsoft security essentials but no spyware was found. Yes the ping is high becuase i am on the other side of the world

Sounds like a firewall issue on your PC. Maybe you have a 3rd party firewall running? (Comodo, Norton, etc.)

generaluser

No there is no 3rd party firewall installed. I had windows firewall installed but since this issue i have even disabled it.

Can you try it without Stun? Stun isn't necessary on most providers. Your nat traversal parameters may be incorrect which may have caused you to turn on Stun.

Thankyou jason_m for replying. I have tried it by turning STUN off but still no connection. I am thinking maybe nothing short of a clean installation of windows would correct this issue

I have attached a log file with STUN turned OFF

@verizon.net

I assume your are running Microsoft Windows.

Have you tried create a new user ID to rule out any problem in your current user profile?
