Re: t-mobile I agree on this. I was once an AT&T customer and I dropped them because all they wanted to do was screw me over. Had this merger gone through, I would have dropped t-mo like a hot potatoe based solely on the merger. I will never go back to AT&T.
This merger was nothing but bad news to US consumers. And I was torn on it. On the one hand, I hate AT&T as a provider, but I love my T-Mo service (and the commercials are pretty cool to). On the other hand as a stock holder in both companies, it would have made sense. In the end, I would have dumped both stocks and and my provider had the deal gone through because of the really bad experience I had with AT&T as a consumer.
AT&T's only purpose was to either eliminate a competitor or sersiously damage it. In the end, it probably did both. I only wish Deustche Telecom took the US market seriously and would devote the resources to it. If they did, they would be a serious player. For now, I'm content to stay with t-mo. But my brand loyalty is serious hit after this mess.... |
