| usb lan i just got a usb lan, as my on board lan broke. the usb lan works great except for one situation.
when dling using utorrent after 20-60 sec all my usb devices stop responding, no keyboard or mouse and i lose my internet connection. the system is still working including all the programs. any one know why this happens? to get things back i have to do a hard restart of comp. what is the usb lan doing to the usb ports?

| I've not experienced this issue. But as most torrent apps open many connections, I'd suspect the issue is related to the number of connections being opened, or the traffic flooding the interface. I'm sure someone here experience with USB NICs and can shed some light on the issue.

I'm not 100% sure what the USB lan is doing to your other devices, but one way to fix it is to get an add-on NIC card and stop using USB lan.

| Well, not counting the video, that board has 2 PCI and 1 PCI-e slot for expansion. What do you have in those?
