weird address problem

I live at 760 serenity drive and if i put in 759 serenity drive or any-other address on my street it says 10 meg service available. I put my address in and it shows only 1.5mbps. So is this wrong it is saying 10meg service or what?

Welcome to Centurylinks messed up system which will result in you paying alot of extra money if you click on anything

Up the street from me it shows 40Mb this is about a block away. But if I look closely it's really another town way south of me.

There system really is very inconsistent. What we really need is a map of towns and CO's that show what speeds are available.

I clicked on 7Mb and ended up paying 100-200$ extra money just to end up back to 1.5Mb and trying to fight to get the money back didn't help.

This seems different though. when you go to the end of my street to dyers store road and go left that whole road says 10 meg too but my address is only 1.5 I called and told them and they said they did not know why it said that so I don't know who is right I do know that based on my line stats I can have faster speeds.
