As I not-so-patiently wait for our street to go live (something about jumpers needed before FIOS can be activated), I periodically keep an eye on the latest pricing for our area, which seems to change on a weekly, if not daily, basis. This morning, for the first time, there was a new discount available for using Verizon One Bill:

| I've had the One Bill Discount for many years now. If saving $10 a month is worth it to you then I would sign up for One Bill. All it does is combine all the Verizon services into one bill. You pay them anyway, it might as well be on the same bill. For a $10 monthly savings I think it's worth it. |

| That's good to hear - I read a variety of complaints that it lead to billing problems, but that was from a couple of years ago.
I hate, however, how random the discounts are on the website. When I go there now, I get no option for signing up for One Bill and, hence, no discount! Other days when I save an order I get a message to complete the order for an additional $5 discount, but that too seems sporadic. It leaves one wondering just how to get all the discounts that one might be entitled to! |

Woo hoo - service in our area was finally activated, so I'm all signed up. Received the $10 credit for One Bill by going through customer service, bringing my triple play ultimate package down to $104.99. Very sweet! Now I just have to hope service lives up to my expectations, but I won't be sorry to ditch Comcast. |
