Agree this isn't a political forum and we can't go there.

I just want to say my heart aches for you and your family. We have faced so much cancer in our family and I know of its treachery.

I am so very sorry Bill. And know you aren't alone in your feelings. I've been uninsured most of my life and went a lifetime without treatments for a number of issues that have made my life unpleasant to put it mildly, but compared to Reynaldo I feel lucky. Bless him and may he have the best quality of life that is possible. Please give him a hug from me, and I really mean it.

I'll echo what everyone else has said. It is very frustrating to not be able to have insurance, and that the costs are sky high for everything.

Prayers and Hugs going out. May the rest of his life be as high in quality as possible.

Seems the best get tested the most.

I am confident we will find a way to deal with health care. I'm not a "progressive". I am a card carrying Conservative.

In spite of our differences in politics, I still believe our most precious resources are our people, and we need to find a way to provide GOOD AFFORDABLE health care, in the face of rising costs. Save lives, and prevent suffering. Not just words, my friend, I truly believe some profound changes can be achieved, and are coming soon!

Getting health care to fight cancer shouldn't even be a political issue, I sure hope he gets the best treatment possible now, late as it may be.

If it wasn't for St. Jude's and the free care there, my Colin wouldn't be alive today. Sadly, it is a herculean effort to fund a non profit hospital. But it shouldn't be so, politics aside.

Nevertheless, it has become a political issue and opinions are widely varied and discussions become heated, even hateful ... even among loved ones.

I don't want to see that taken further in this forum. We're a team. We have always been an excellent team, IMO, even though we come from widely varied opinions on some topics which can become volatile. We just allow one another space and come together for that on which we can all agree.

We all agree we hope for the best for our team mates, our families, our friends, all our loved ones ... even our pets. Let's, please, keep it there.
