| [AZ] [CATV] Channel Line-up Changes The following was on my billing statement today:
On or about June 19, 2012 Cox is making the following changes to our lineup:
CHANNEL LAUNCHES:
Disney Jr. will launch on Ch 127 (as part of the Variety Pak),
Hallmark Movie Channel will launch on Ch 128 (as part of the Movie Pak),
Cartoon Network will launch on Ch 426 (as part of the Latino Pak),
Nicktoons will launch on Ch 427 (as part of the Latino Pak).
CHANNEL MOVES:
TV Guide Channel will move from Ch 97 to Ch 74 (as part of Cox TV Essential).
With this move TV Guide Channel will become a full screen product and the scrolling guide will no longer be available.
Additionally a CableCARD or digital receiver will be needed to view the channel.
KFPH-CA Telefutura will move from Ch 54 to Ch 97 (as part of Cox TV Starter),
KFPH-CA Telefutura HD will move from Ch 1054 to Ch 1097 (as part of Cox TV Starter HD),
TBS will move from channel 16 to Ch 54 (as part of Cox TV Essential).
With this move TBS will move from Starter TV to the Expanded level of service.
TBS HD will move from Ch 1016 to Ch 1054 (as part of Cox TV Essential HD).
With this move TBS will move from Starter HD to the Expanded HD level of service.
OTHER CHANNEL CHANGES: Customers should call Cox and complain about these Tier Moves.
Biography SD (cH 135) & Biography HD (Ch 1135) move from the Variety Pak to the Sports & Information Pak,
H2 SD (Ch 136) & H2 HD (Ch 1136) will move from the Variety Pak to the Sports & Information Pak.
Hallmark Movie Channel HD will move from the Variety Pak to the Movie Pak.

This just proves its all about the benjamins!!1
if theres room to add those channels, they could give the people paying for premiums ALL THE CHANNELS they pay for[these people should come first]

on a side note sports and info was always a rip to me so lets take some channels that people actually watch and force people to shell out more money
PS: wasn't there a franchise rule that TBS had to be on broadcast basic? |

What belongs in the Sports & Information Pak more?
ESPN or Bio and H2? |

| In other markets that is the case, looks like AZ is reorganizing to match the rest of the country. It just stinks that Bio, H2 and DIY have always been in the Variety Pak here in AZ.
If that is the case Cox AZ will probably move DIY & DIYHD to the Info Pak also.

Highly unlikely. DIYHD is in plus pak along with other channels that many pay for but don't get which is another cash grab.
too much more of this crap and I may have to get satellite a try and kick cox video to the curb[plus I wouldn't have to deal with video sound dropouts, glitching, freezing everytime it rains] |

Have you checked out your cabling? If you only experience that when it rains it sounds like moisture might be getting in one of the cables causing some degradation. It might be worth it to check it out.

I do not receive OutdoorHD even though it is in the Plus Pak, because I do not subscribe to the Sports & Info Pak.
