m2deux join:2004-12-13 Copiague, NY | Upstream bonding? Just looked at my Arris stats and as of 2 days ago I went from 5 to 6 bonded channels. Can upstream channels be bonded for more speed? Might be helpful for my kids online gaming. |

No, it will not help your kids' online gaming (unless your upload speeds are abysmal to begin with, but that would likely indicate other issues.) -- University of Southern California - Fight On! |

 | My guess is that shortly after the all-digital switch, the area will be increased to 6-8 downstream channels. I haven't seen more than 5 in an analog system. |

 | reply to m2deux Upstream bonding proba wont happen till ALL cablevision systems are digital only. Don't the analog channels take up the space needed for upstream channels? |
