| If you can configure DHCP and DNS, 70-642 is a very easy exam.
I am one exam from my EA, I only have the 70-647 to go. For me, as a non-day-to-day windows admin, the hardest so far has been the AD exam. I know enough to get by, but the whole "contoso.com has 4 domains in a forest" goes way beyond every customer environment I'll ever see |

I have been meaning to knock out a few test for the fun of it and my company will pay so why not. Yeah, over in Metairie. Surprised this place is still there; same location I took my MCP and MCDST certs in 2006.

| That's where I took my VCP exams. Had a run in with a security Nazi too. When I parked in the parking lot directly adjacent to that building. Apparently you aren't "allowed" to park in the store's parking lot. Crazy, I know given how big the parking lot is. -- Not only does Jesus save, but he makes nightly off-site backups. |

Back in 2004 I was at a local tech school filling out admissions papers and such. I was parked in the visitor parking lot on the front section of the building where admissions was. I wasn't in there for maybe an hour and come back out to see a security guy behind my truck looking at my tag writing info down on what appeared to be a ticket book.
I get his attention and ask him what he's doing. He replies "you're not supposed to be parked here" and goes back to his writing. I respond with "Ummm you know, I'm a prospective student, in other words a VISITOR, parked in the VISITOR lot. Where else would you like me to park?" He then rips the paper out of the book and walks away annoyed. I get in my truck and leave. |

|
JoelC707Premium join:2002-07-09 West Point, GA kudos:5 | Students parked where they aren't supposed to be yes. One of the lots is 90% student, 10% faculty (students have a separate dedicated lot and faculty has a shared lot with the visitors). Students parking in the faculty lot can get ticketed. I never did but you had to go to the security office to get your ID and I noticed signs about paying tickets online and such so I knew they can do it.
I'm not sure about visitors getting a ticket, I suppose if you were parked where you weren't supposed to as well then yes to that too. And I checked, my stall had "VISITOR" painted on it so unless they rearranged the lot without repainting it the guy was 100% in the wrong. And if they did rearrange it, the school is still in the wrong and should not be issuing any tickets until they repaint as visitors won't know about the rearrangement and will park where indicated. |

the MCITP (Server admin and Enterprise admin) are essentially MCSA's now |
