kudos:1 | [Classes] Paly Heals I know i just got finished asking people how to heal on my shammy, but while this great site was down i had a chance to get a paly to 84. I know i can google search for paly heals to get info, but i really like the players here and there descriptions. So does anyone have any tips on how to play an OP Holy Paly. Holy power, seals, and blessings all threw me off. Any input would be gratly appreciated.

Kings > Might if you got the choice between only one. (The int is better than the mp5)
Keep track of your holy power, use free 3HP WoG on tank if there's no raid damage going out., else you can use light of dawn, be careful on your positioning as it is a frontal cone.
Keep beacon up. Holy Light is your go to spell, plus it transfers 100% w/ beacon.
Holy shock on CD ???? (Not sure on this)
Keep judgement up too.

Can't remember, but what generates holy power for pally healers? My pally is 80 but ret/prot atm, so I haven't healed since ICC days. |

In lower gear, I preferred Might over Kings for the mana regen. Once you get to a point where mana isn't a problem, Kings is better. Since Kings=MotW, I usually default to Might in a raid setting.
1. Keep Beacon on the Tank, Seal of Insight on yourself, and Judge an enemy every 60 seconds for the Judgements of the Pure buff (haste and mana regen)
2. Holy Shock on CD
3. Word of Glory for single target heals (costs no mana) at 3 Holy Power; Light of Dawn for front cone AOE heal (costs no mana) at 3 Holy Power
4. Holy Light is a small heal, Divine Light is a large heal, Flash of Light is an Emergency Heal, Holy Radiance is an AOE heal with a tiny HOT on the target.
Holy Power is generated whenever:
- You cast holy radiance
- You Flash/Divine heal the target of your beacon
- You use Holy Shock
- You take direct damage (requires PVP talent 'Blessed Life')
Healing Cooldowns:
- Divine Favor (Increased spell haste and crit by 20% for 30 seconds)
- Guardian of Ancient Kings (duplicates the next 5 direct heals over everyone within 10 yds of the target)
- Avenging Wrath (increases all healing by 20% for 20 seconds)
- Aura mastery (doubles the effect of devo/resist/ret aura for 6 seconds; makes Con aura provide immunity to silence and interrupts)
And of course you have your Hands, Word spells, Divine Plea, etc.

kudos:7 | Probably depends on the situation--is there a flag carrier? who's being focused? etc.
For arena I can't say, never done it on the pally. I'd imagine you just heal whoever is most likely to get focused, and beacon the #2.

In PvP it's situational on whom you Beacon. It might change every few minutes as well in PvP. |

is it bad if i used to beacon myself in pvp all the time and focus healing on the rest of the players?
