I really like that antenna, but can't seem to find one that doesn't cost more than my radio...

Would like to find a surplus one.... would be cheaper... That and I could set it up in the back yard, then take it down as needed....

It's a Shakespeare AT-2011. I bought all of the sections and the base for about $125 at Murphy's Surplus in El Cajon.
This was back about 10 years ago, so he might not have any left. They usually go really fast when he gets them in. A friend of mine knows Mike very well, and I got to sift through the collection of them, and came up with a complete set that was basically new.

Look at the s9 verticals. I have the 43 footer and it works great. They have shorter ones that perform well also.
