Re: [Cable] Technicolor replaces DCM475 with DCM476 in lineup

if you were going to buy a cable modem, no reason to hold out for a 476 if you can get a 475 quickly?

First step to getting a 476 would be to wait for it to get on the incumbent cableco's approved list, which could take a while. How much cheaper and more power-efficient it might be is pointless until then.

Teksavvy already lists it on their site as one of their approved modems.

Actually it appears that TSI is already selling DCM476 in Rogers territory.

Anyone have experience with the DCM476? I just ordered one to replace my 475 that is losing range and disconnecting sporadically throughout the day.
