[FireFox] Firefox 12 not loading sites

I have noticed that some times Fx 12 will report that it cannot connect to a website, even one that it was connecting to just fine moments earlier - tell it to reload the page and nothing happens. The only fix I have found is to either restart the browser or downgrade to 3.6.28...anyone else seeing this?

Yes, that happened to me a few times before I did a clean install. »Firefox 12 Resource Hog

You may also want to check Windows Task Manager/Processes for more than one instance of firefox.exe running when it stalls and also check for firefox.exe hanging after exiting your browser.

Both of those instances were happening to me before I reinstalled.

Only one instance, but tons of tabs.

I would first make sure it's not an intermittent connection. Unfortunately DSLr tools will not be available until the recovery is completed so you'll have to use other sources to check your line quality and stability.

If your connection is stable, restart Firefox in "SafeMode" to rule out add-ons. If still no joy, check out this list> »support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/Bas···shooting

You can save all your settings, bookmarks, add-ons, etc. to desktop and reinstall if all else fails. All you have to do is navigate to your "Profile Folder" (look up how-to for your OS), save it to desktop and reinstall.

Still having the problem after a profile rebuild...wierd part now is I can't browse (in IE now affected as well as Firefox) but downloading from iTunes works just fine.
