Well, my mic is still broken....sometimes...only on phone app.

However, it is washing the dishes now.

Yep, same here. Safari on the new iPad, Bing bookmark added. Wouldn't have noticed it if people didn't mention it,....

Apple offers iOS 5.1.1 update, fixes some serious vulnerabilities
---
To summarise here, iOS 5.1.1 addresses three main security problems:

* Address-bar spoofing. Site X could direct you to site Y, but make it look as though you'd gone to site Z.
---

* Cross-site scripting. When you visit site X, code sucked in from site Y could execute as though it had been served from site X.

---
* Remote code execution. A maliciously crafted web page might crash your browser in such a way that it ends up running program code secretly embedded in the page.

Just double checked. Not added to either update to iPhone 4S or iPad 2.2. My default search engine in both is Google. Perhaps an American addition? Tied to geolocation?

iPhone has been updated. I see nothing in this update that benefits my iPad.

Well it didn’t change the default search engine, it just added a Bing bookmark. I had to scroll all the way down to the bottom of my Bookmark list to see it. I’m fairly sure it wasn’t there before as I was looking at the end of my Bookmark list before when installing / setting up the “Pocket” app (formally know as “Read it Later”).

Anyway, security fixes are good, I’ll take it. Makes you wonder how secure things were before though. You cant fix something without admitting something was wrong in the first place,…..

Now that you mention it..... I did have a Bing bookmark, but now I've got two. Interesting. I wonder how much MS paid to have that included?

Gotta be a geo location issue, no Bing on my phone here either after the update.
