Thanks wm4bama I am in the ViaSat-1 range. Dr strange I have no idea what your talking about but sorry if I framed that question wrong. I edited it so you can rest easy tonight. I just threw it in there for the heck of it anyway. wm4bama anwsered all my questions.

Your usage pattern...BitTorrent type activities will be clamped down during primetime hours. Many ISPs use Traffic Management equipment these days.

Speed Tests do not reflect an ISP's throughput on all activities when they are being clamped down (testmy is just another file download).

I'm on Exede's 5 mbps service, and have no complaints, as based upon an user's experience, but I'm not a heavy file downloader.

Hi Anon
I have no clue who you are responding to without seeing their post, did they disappear ?

Btw I've had Excede for 2 months and never see less than 15Mb/s
HN 9000 is lucky at 1.4Mbps
Cellcom G3 ~900kbps

Of course depends which test site you are using for your scores

This forum's server crashed; when first brought back online, if an user did not use their previous login name, then later this name got changed to Anon.
