[Info] Help - an apartment in FL? Celebration / Kissimmee
Hey there!
I am planning on moving to Florida soon for my job. I need to find an apartment and so far most of my searching has turned up places that *look* ok from the sight but have terrible reviews. This seems to be a trend no matter what really. I have a friend down there looking at some places I may like but I was wondering if any fellows here have any recommendations or least warnings of bad areas
I am looking in Celebration / Kissimmee area. Thats where my office is located.
I kind of do not want to be more than 15-20 miles from the office.
Also kind of curious, does fios even exist down there?? A lot of the places I am seeing force you to take what they have or use something called Brighthouse?

If you're looking for FiOS, you'll only find that in Polk County. That's the only county served by Verizon in the area. You'll want to try searching for Davenport. Davenport is a nice area and very close to Celebration and it is in Polk County. I've lived all over the Kissimmee area, so send me a message with what places you're considering and I'll try to help you out with what areas they're in and what they're like in person.

reply to DC Denton And ATT is trying to ditch DSL, and get everyone to move to FIOS like UVERSE... problem is its only offered as a bundled all or nothing package of phone/net/TV in an affordable form.
And I have always hated putting all eggs in one basket.
Currently ATT local only land line, with DSL for Skype and other net/streaming needs, and DISH for TV --
