Re: Rob Ford Just thinking back over the last few mayors of Toronto, the only one that springs to mind of having a large media following was Mel Lastman. During his term a few notable things became public such as his wife shoplifting, and his decades old affair & illegitimate children, still I don't recall the media having such a hate feast towards him as they do for Ford. During a CBC radio broadcast this week one of the hosts (I forget which show), bought up the subject by referring to Ford as Toronto's 300lbs. mayor.
Deal with it Toronto - you elected him, your mayor is an emotionally immature childish man, he has a weight problem and is not socially polished, however antagonizing him isn't going to accomplish anything (other then selling more newspapers). |
